Strength in Weakness Ministries is committed to protecting your privacy. We share in your concerns for confidentiality and protection and will do so by holding to the following standards:

  • We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information or, even disclose your identity to others. Your privacy is always respected. All information relating to your correspondence and contributions to Strength in Weakness Ministries is held in the strictest confidence.

  • If you order materials from Strength in Weakness Ministries or circumstances require that communication must be made via physical shipment (i.e.: Canada Post; United States Postal Service; U.P.S., etc.); all mailings will be done in unclear and non-descriptive packaging. (This does not relate to correspondence with other organizations or individuals for the reason of fund raising or other business related purposes.)

  • If communication via the telephone is required (and it is necessary for a message to be forwarded,   either with an individual, or on “voice mail,”) we will not introduce ourselves as representatives of “Strength in Weakness Ministries”, or disclose the purpose of the call unless prior consent is given to do so. (This does not relate to correspondence with other organizations or individuals for the reason of fund raising or other business related purposes.)

  • All online transactions and contributions on this site occur through a safe, private, and secure system that protects the donor’s personal information.

  • If you choose to register for our “Members Area” so that you can participate in our on-line forum, discussion group(s), or conference call(s), etc., we will ask you to volunteer personal information such as your name and email address for the purposes of effective administration only. Any release of personal information on the site is left to the discretion of each individual. Any person(s) who shares private information about another individual without their prior consent of that person on this website, will summarily have their access denied to the “Members Area” of this site. 

  • Strength in Weakness Ministries will never disclose this information, including your identity to anyone outside of Strength in Weakness Ministries without your prior consent.

  • We may disclose certain information about you without your prior permission with persons or companies that are not affiliates of Strength in Weakness Ministries as permitted by/or in compliance with legislation, for purposes such as: Law enforcement agencies or governmental authorities to report suspected illegal activities.

  • This Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that Strength in Weakness Ministries is not responsible for the privacy practices of other such sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy policy of every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. Use these sites at your own discretion. TERMS OF USE

Please read the following and agree to these terms and conditions before you begin participating in any video-conference group, online discussion forum, or event hosted by Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc., including phone calls and email exchanges. Those who do not agree to the terms herein are not eligible to participate in events or forums hosted by Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc.

 

  • I commit to keeping confidential all names and identifying information of those participating in any video-conference group, online discussion forum, or event hosted by Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc.

  • I commit to forever keep confidential all aspects of what others (Group Leaders as well as participants) experience during Strength in Weakness Programs, meetings, or events and anything they may choose to disclose about themselves, their lives and their feelings without their permission.

  • I commit not to engage in any homosexual activity or erotic conversations at any time in the future with anyone I have met through my participation in Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc.

  • I understand and commit that, should I breach commitments No. 1, 2, or 3 above, at any time, I will promptly make this known to the group leader(s). This is essential to preserve the integrity and healing intent of the group.

  • I acknowledge that Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc. is a PEER led organization and is not a replacement for professional therapy or mental healthcare. I understand that Strength in Weakness Ministries and Strength in Weakness Inc. and its staff are not qualified to assist me professionally in these areas.  Occasionally, therapists may be invited to attend Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc. meetings as guest speakers, but they are not acting in the capacity as therapists during their participation in Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc. events.

  • I understand that all individuals experience healing in different ways and may have varying degrees of success, and that change is determined by each individual.    I understand that Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc. does not support conversion therapy and does not use conversion therapy in any manner. It is not the goal of Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc. to have any person change or alter their sexual attraction or identity.

  • I certify and commit that I will not publish, broadcast, report on, or in any other way publicly communicate a description, eye witness account, or testimonial of what I or others experience in Strength in Weakness programs, video-conference, in-person meeting, or event without receiving, in advance of any and every publication or broadcast, the express wrote permission of the executive director of Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc.

  • I certify that I voluntarily choose to participate in Strength in Weakness programs because I believe they may be helpful to my personal growth and development. I am not participating under the pretense of "undercover"; I am not attending to "cover," report on or "expose" the organization, it's leaders or participants, or to critique or undermine the work of Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc.

  • I hereby release, acquit, discharge, and indemnify, and hold harmless Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc., its officers, board members, employees, agents, representatives, and/or volunteers from all actions, claims, demands, damages, and expenses, including attorney's fees or other legal expenses, arising from and/or in connection with my interactions and participation in Strength in Weakness Ministries or Strength in Weakness Inc. meetings, or video-conferences.
